From interviews and writing to design and artwork, each edition reflects BBI’s tone of voice, values and visual identity, helping to strengthen company-wide communication.
Partnering with BBI’s HR team, this ongoing project supports internal communication across the group’s global sites. Each month, the BBI Brief newsletter is produced to share updates, celebrate achievements and strengthen connections between colleagues in Crumlin, Cape Town, Freiburg and Portland – Maine.

Cross-Culture Comms
Our process begins with planning and interviews, speaking to different employees each month to uncover stories that reflect BBI’s culture and values. Articles are written in the organisation’s tone of voice, balancing warmth and professionalism to engage readers across the broad range of roles and locations – from warehouse operatives in South Africa to R&D scientists in Germany, Wales and USA.
Once the content is finalised, the newsletter is designed and artworked into an interactive PDF format, combining accessible layout with a clear visual identity. A German-language edition is also created to ensure inclusivity across international teams.

The result is a publication that informs and inspires – connecting colleagues worldwide, recognising achievements and reinforcing the shared sense of purpose that defines the BBI Group. Its value is reflected in BBI’s annual Employee Engagement survey, which consistently highlights internal communication as one of the company’s key strengths.
