From our office in South Staffordshire we bring bold, strategic design to clients across the UK. With out roots in the Midlands, our work is shaped by authenticity, craft and the straightforward attitude that defines our region.
A Midlands Story
We are proud Midlanders. All three partners were born and bred here, with our origin stories firmly in placed in the centre of England. Mark has been based in the likes of Wombourne and Kinver, just across the border from Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands, where he went to university.
Maxine is a proud Coventry girl, with Kelvin from Coleshill, Birmingham. Both lived in one of the jewels of Warwickshire, Royal Leamington Spa, before moving to Tavistock, Devon, in 2018.
The Midlands is a region that built Britain’s industry. The Black Country and surrounding areas are steeped in creativity, innovation and a fierce sense of identity. It’s a place that’s honest, hardworking and unpretentious and those same values shape everything we design.
There’s something special about being right at the centre of the UK. From South Staffordshire we are perfectly placed as a central design hub, working seamlessly with clients north and south, east and west. It keeps us connected, grounded and ready to deliver national-level creativity from a local base.
A Region That Inspires Creativity
South Staffordshire sits on the edge of the Black Country, an area known worldwide thanks to the grit and style made famous by the notorious Peaky Blinders. That same spirit of determination and authenticity runs through our work. We combine craftsmanship and innovation with a no-nonsense attitude.
We draw inspiration from the region’s industrial past and its natural beauty, from the sandstone ridges of Kinver Edge to the green spaces that link Staffordshire to Shropshire and the West Midlands. It’s a landscape full of contrast, energy and creative opportunity.
