Stove Industry Alliance
The SIA required a new approach to their website in order to get key information over to more than just their multiple industry organisations. The site was now also tasked with informing the public, and the government, about the carbon saving benefits of wood burning stoves.

The new SIA website also needed to inform, and promote, the SIA Ecodesign Ready accredited logo. This was designed to show that modern clean wood burning stoves can reduce particulate emissions.
In doing this it needed to showcase nearly 700 products awarded the SIA’s industry standard EcoReadyDesign standard, along with letting visitors use their own location to find the nearest SIA Member stockists all over the UK.
The website also needed to reflect the many SIA Members and SIA Retail Group Members, representing their interests with a view to growing the overall market and providing them a platform for industry advise.
From concept to live
The project marked the conclusion of several months of development work to completely review and add to the site’s content, create a brand new searchable map-based listing for SIA Retail Group members, fully overhaul the members’ area with a review of all materials and resources, and complete the transfer of the SIA Ecodesign Ready listing from the HETAS website where it was previously held.
Email accounts and migration
On top of the website design, Identity Studio were responsible for setting up and migrating existing email accounts to our new service as email providers.
We were delighted to launch the brand new SIA website, particularly during such a troublesome year. Now hosted by the developers, Identity Studio, with whom we have built up an excellent and collaborative working relationship, and which will enable us to easily adapt the website as needed in the future.
