Identity designed the new home of the British Poultry Council – the voice of the British poultry meat sector.

A small London-based organisation keen to make a fine impression with a website that belies their size. Proof once again that the Web “levels the playing field” when good design and content is adopted for your corporate website.

As the trade association for producers of poultry meat from chickens, turkeys, ducks and geese, the Council addresses issues on all parts of the production chain: breeding, hatching, growing, and processing they required a professional looking, responsive front end to the site. They also required a secure Extranet for members to access a large quantity of information.

Also, crucial to the project was the promotion of British poultry industry as a viable career to students. A dedicated site, Poultry People, was originally produced. This was eventually absorbed into the main website with its own section. It features case studies, videos and info packs aimed at primary schools to further education.

Campylobacter – Joint Working Group

The working group associations required an informative, responsive website containing information on the status of campylobacter in the UK, along with details of the scientific research carried out by the Joint Working Group to reduce levels of campylobacter.
